Cowal Choral Club is an inclusive community group of singers and choral performers who share a passion for delivering quality public entertainment through the power of choir music and musical theatre. Our members come from a variety of backgrounds and we want to foster professional performances with an integrated and inclusive chorus community.
Our Shows
The Cowal Choral Club has a long history of promoting the study and performance of choral and operatic music in Cowal. From our first stage performance of the Mikado at Dunoon Burgh Hall in 1946/7 to more ‘recent’ performances of The Messiah, The Armed Man, Guys and Dolls, Fiddler on the Roof and Beauty & the Beast, we have played to large audiences in Churches, The Burgh Hall, and the Queen's Hall (and received much critical acclaim). Cowal Choral Club is an inclusive chorus of singers and musical theatre perfomers based in Dunoon, Argyll, Scotland. We have entertained our community since 1942, and we rehearse at 1900 hours, every Thursday evening in the Burgh Hall, Dunoon. Read more...

How to Become a Patron
Cowal Choral Club is funded by a mix of membership subscriptions, income from performance ticket sales, fundraising activities, direct advertising and cost mitigation support from local businesses, and by generous donations made by private individuals. These private individuals are referred to as “Patrons”. Read more...
